This project for SaskPower is a custom FRP slip-in station. The final dimensions for this station is 15′ (L) x 5’2 (W) x 5′ (H) at approximately 3,500 lbs. This station was pretty simple, completed with, 2x 3″ pumps, 4x 3” valves, FRP piping, 1x top hatch, 1x full length aluminum ladder with Bilco ladder up, among some other items & standard parts.
This station was shipped to site in 4’ flanged sections. Upon arrival, each section was taken apart and moved to the basement of the building via elevator and lowered into the old concrete base. Our field fitter went in and re-attached each piece from bottom to top, including the force main, inlet, and all internal parts.
